- Students in field ecology were tasked to learn about a few Hawaiian species and make a presentation to teach their other classmates about those species. Students had to get into groups of 2-3 and watch each other’s presentations and take notes as well.

- I felt that this assignment was a good match for communication skills. We had to communicate with our group members in order to learn about the Hawaiian species, but we also had to communicate with our classmates so that they’d be able to learn about the Hawaiian species.

- I am most proud of the final presentation. I think that the slideshow was put together well and that our presentation was informative and easy to understand.

- I was able to communicate effectively with my group members and teach the class about the Hawaiian species that I chose. I communicated with my group members about which species group to choose and what our presentation should look like.

- The hardest thing about this assignment was deciding which Hawaiian species to learn and teach. My group decided to cover three Hawaiian bird species, and we just went in-depth about those species.

- I think that my group did a good job with this project, but if we were to do it again, I think that we could’ve chosen more bird species to cover.

- In field ecology, we’ve been learning about Hawaiian species all year. We incorporated that learning into this project, but we were also able to learn from our classmates, which was a good twist.

- We have continued to learn about Hawaiian species in field ecology, and we will continue to learn about them in the future, it's just good to know some of the basic Hawaiian species and how they are beneficial to our environment.
